Responsibility

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new merchants to expand the company’s network in Bali and surrounding regions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target businesses.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly merchant acquisition targets and sales KPIs.
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential merchants and emerging business opportunities.
  • Present and negotiate partnership terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and activation.
  • Provide regular reports on acquisition progress, challenges, and market insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in merchant acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (1-3+ years) in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, preferably in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of closing deals.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tracking systems.
  • Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
