Responsibility
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed merchandising decisions.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure product availability and quality.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and product placement.
- Design and execute promotional campaigns and in-store displays to enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to stay ahead of the market.
- Train and mentor store staff on merchandising best practices and visual presentation standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations on merchandising performance for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, retail management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and team collaboration.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful merchandising strategies.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual merchandising and product presentation.
