Responsibility
- Curate and manage product assortments to align with market trends, consumer preferences, and business objectives in Bali’s key retail locations.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers, buyers, and internal teams to negotiate pricing, promotions, and product placements that drive sales and profitability.
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to minimize stockouts, overstock, and markdowns while ensuring product availability across multiple stores.
- Work closely with visual merchandising teams to create compelling in-store and online product displays that enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through rates, gross margin, and inventory turnover to assess business health.
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer demands in Bali’s retail landscape.
- Support the planning and execution of seasonal campaigns, promotions, and new product launches to maximize sales impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising, retail buying, or inventory management, preferably in the retail or consumer products sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports to make informed decisions.
- Proven experience in product assortment planning, inventory optimization, and demand forecasting.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, retail management software, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual merchandising and product presentation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia or others) are a plus.
