Responsibility
- Design and develop MEPFS systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in compliance with Australian standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and system simulations to optimize performance and sustainability.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate MEPFS systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Perform energy efficiency analyses and recommend sustainable solutions to reduce environmental impact.
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material specifications from contractors and vendors.
- Provide technical support during construction, including site visits (if required) and troubleshooting system issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and technologies to ensure best practices are implemented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with a focus on MEPFS systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEPFS design and engineering, preferably with exposure to Australian standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of international building codes, sustainability standards, and energy efficiency practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining effective communication with global teams.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Professional engineering certification or licensure is highly desirable.
