Responsibility
- Oversee the design, installation, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) systems for construction projects.
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure all trades (MEP contractors, subcontractors, and laborers) work in sync and adhere to project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to MEPF systems, including conflicts, delays, or cost overruns.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams to ensure the efficient execution of MEPF installations.
- Ensure all MEPF systems are sustainable, energy-efficient, and compliant with environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEPF engineering, preferably in construction or development projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other MEP design software.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards in Indonesia.
- Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient building practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on-site.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
