Responsibility
- Design and develop MEPF systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEPF systems into project designs.
- Supervise and inspect MEPF installations on-site to verify adherence to specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and BIM (Building Information Modeling) models for accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations for MEPF components, optimizing resource allocation and budget adherence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEPF systems during construction and post-installation phases.
- Ensure all systems meet environmental sustainability goals and energy efficiency requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, and compliance certificates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field); licensed engineer is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEPF design, coordination, and supervision for construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software for system modeling and design.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, NFPA, ASHRAE, and international MEPF standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams in a construction environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Mark) is advantageous.
