As an MEP Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems in commercial, residential, or industrial facilities. Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of MEP systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, providing timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control standards.
- Document maintenance activities, system performance, and repair histories for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the commissioning and testing of new MEP installations to verify functionality and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an MEP Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in building systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing, fire protection systems, and building automation.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices in Indonesia.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
