Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure products meet industry and company standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and propose corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimize product designs for performance and manufacturability.
- Lead product testing and validation (durability, functionality, safety) using advanced tools and methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, customer feedback) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, test reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to international quality standards (ISO, CE, UL, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product quality, development, or manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in quality management tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, FMEA).
- Strong knowledge of product testing methodologies and standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, etc.).
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with supply chain and vendor management for quality assurance.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
