Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting on PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other control systems to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, and control valves to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement system modifications and upgrades to enhance automation efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate new control systems for process optimization.
- Monitor and analyze system performance data to proactively address potential failures or inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all instrumentation and control activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and maintenance logs.
- Provide training and support to operational staff on control system operations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in control & instrumentation within manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider) and SCADA/HMI systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial sensors, transmitters, and control valves (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow).
- Experience with calibration, loop testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to emergency call-outs when required.
