Responsibility
- Lead the electrical design and engineering of utility-scale solar PV (LSS) projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, SNI).
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
- Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for new solar projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in solar PV systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in solar energy to drive efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in utility-scale solar PV (LSS) projects.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, including inverters, transformers, and protection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, PVsyst, or other relevant engineering software.
- Familiarity with local and international electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, SNI).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications in solar energy (e.g., NABCEP, SEIA) or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
