Responsibility
- Oversee and inspect MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, checklists, and inspection protocols for all MEP-related works.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct regular site audits and generate detailed reports on quality performance, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for adherence to design and quality requirements.
- Train and mentor site teams on quality best practices, safety protocols, and MEP system functionalities.
- Ensure all MEP works meet local regulations (e.g., SNI, PUIL) and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, IBC).
- Collaborate with procurement teams to verify the quality of MEP materials and equipment before installation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP quality control/supervision within the construction industry, preferably in high-rise buildings, hotels, or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, fire protection, electrical wiring, plumbing, and BMS.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and construction standards (e.g., ASTM, NFPA).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., CQM, Six Sigma) or MEP-specific training are a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Badung, Bali, with occasional travel to other project locations.
