Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with architectural plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress and report any deviations or issues to the project manager.
- Verify the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any construction-related issues.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices on the construction site.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team as needed.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on inspection findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Inspector of Works or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus.
