Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and mitigate quality risks before they impact project timelines or budgets.
- Prepare and present detailed QA/QC reports, including non-conformance findings, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead training programs for staff and subcontractors on quality standards, testing methods, and documentation requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier and vendor performance to ensure materials and services meet project quality criteria.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and recommending process enhancements.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local, national, and international construction codes and standards, including ISO, SNI, and client-specific requirements.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CQM, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials testing, and quality management systems (QMS).
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and resolve quality-related issues.
- Proficiency in QA/QC software tools (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD, or MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and standards (e.g., SNI, PUPR) and international codes (e.g., ASTM, ACI).
- Excellent English and Indonesian language skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with international clients and stakeholders.
