As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, procurement, and financial administration for the LRT project. Responsibility
- Manage and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget and financial targets.
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for the LRT project.
- Conduct procurement activities, including tendering, evaluation, and award of contracts.
- Monitor and report on project expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure financial and contractual compliance.
- Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors and subcontractors.
- Provide financial and commercial advice to the project team and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in cost control, procurement, and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
