Responsibility
- Supervise and monitor the daily activities of MEP subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate the quality of MEP installations, including electrical wiring, plumbing systems, and HVAC units.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements before implementation.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and local building codes throughout all phases of construction.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, highlighting any deviations from the project plan and proposing corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on MEP-related milestones and address any concerns.
- Mentor junior staff and subcontractors on best practices for MEP installations and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP supervision or coordination within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including design principles, installation techniques, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards in Indonesia.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia to effectively coordinate with multicultural teams.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
