Responsibility
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Oversee structural works submissions and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Negotiate contracts and procurement agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Analyze project risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenditures and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in residential or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification or membership in a professional body (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
