Responsibility
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project managers to certify progress payments and final accounts.
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate contract claims, variations, and final settlements.
- Manage subcontractor claims, disputes, and documentation to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct cost analysis, budget forecasting, and financial reporting for construction projects.
- Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and change orders while maintaining accurate cost records.
- Provide expert advice on contractual risks, dispute resolution, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Liaise with legal teams to resolve contractual disputes and minimize financial exposure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with exposure to international projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, contract administration, and claims management.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, JCT, or other standard construction contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Primavera, or other QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market practices is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
