Note: This is a contract-based role with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
Responsibility
- Lead the coordination of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) across multiple construction projects in Bali, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural designs.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to resolve clashes and optimize MEP system layouts using BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, submittals, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify MEP installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with stakeholders to address MEP-related challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Prepare and maintain MEP coordination reports, including clash detection logs, progress updates, and as-built documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams to enhance project execution and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MEP coordination to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP coordination, preferably in commercial, hospitality, or large-scale residential projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and MEP design tools.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and MEP standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience working in Bali or other tropical climates is a plus.
- Ability to travel to project sites across Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung) as needed.
