Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology, with strict adherence to standardized procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret test results, identifying abnormalities and reporting findings to healthcare providers.
- Maintain meticulous records of all tests performed, results, and quality control data in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Follow biosafety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to verify test results and provide technical support for patient care decisions.
- Participate in proficiency testing and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technology and medical testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Valid Medical Technologist license or certification (local or international equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic center.
- Proficient in using laboratory information systems (LIS) and automated testing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, CAP, or local health regulations).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
