Responsibility
- Conduct a wide range of clinical laboratory tests (hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, etc.) with precision and adherence to standardized protocols.
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Analyze and interpret test results, flagging abnormalities and reporting critical findings to physicians and healthcare providers.
- Implement strict quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of all laboratory outputs.
- Document and manage patient data, test results, and laboratory records in compliance with HIPAA and local healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize laboratory procedures for improved efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Stay updated on emerging medical technologies, diagnostic trends, and industry best practices through continuous professional development.
- Uphold infection control and biosafety standards to ensure a safe working environment for staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Medical Technologist license or certification (local or international equivalents accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting (fresh graduates with exceptional academic records may be considered).
- Proficiency in operating automated laboratory systems (e.g., hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, PCR machines).
- Strong knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Commitment to ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and continuous quality improvement.
