Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify physical, cognitive, and emotional limitations affecting daily living.
  • Develop and implement personalized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with patient goals and medical recommendations.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and adaptive living strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and nurses to ensure holistic patient care and progress tracking.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, assistive devices, and lifestyle modifications for long-term independence.
  • Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and prepare detailed reports for healthcare teams and insurance providers.
  • Stay updated on evidence-based practices and integrate innovative therapy techniques into patient care.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote occupational health awareness in Bali’s diverse populations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure or registration as an Occupational Therapist (Malaysian or internationally recognized, with eligibility to practice in Indonesia).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics, or mental health settings.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomical, physiological, and psychological principles underlying occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
