Responsibility
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical medical records in compliance with US healthcare regulations.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to retrieve, update, and file medical records.
- Process and organize incoming medical documents, including lab results, physician notes, and patient histories.
- Respond to requests for medical records from authorized personnel while adhering to privacy laws.
- Perform regular audits to verify the integrity and accuracy of medical records.
- Assist in the transition from paper-based to electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Records Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical records coordination or a similar role.
- Familiarity with US healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work onsite in Eastwood Libis, Metro Manila.
