Responsibility
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all administrative procedures are completed accurately.
- Encode and maintain up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and personal information, with strict confidentiality.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing clear and helpful responses to patient questions.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with medical staff as needed.
- Process billing and insurance documentation, verifying details for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in preparing and organizing medical reports, test requisitions, and other administrative documents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a medical receptionist, patient encoder, or in a similar administrative role within the healthcare industry.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic knowledge of healthcare administrative processes.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or patient management software is a plus.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or certificate in Medical Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Indonesian healthcare systems and regulations is advantageous.
