Responsibility
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment including imaging systems, patient monitors, ventilators, and laboratory devices
- Conduct safety inspections and compliance checks according to international healthcare standards (ISO, FDA, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal downtime to ensure continuous patient care
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all medical equipment
- Collaborate with biomedical engineers and clinical staff to assess equipment needs and recommend upgrades
- Provide technical training to healthcare personnel on proper equipment operation
- Manage inventory of spare parts and coordinate with suppliers for replacements
- Stay updated with latest medical technology advancements and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Equipment Technician or similar role
- Certification in medical equipment maintenance (e.g., CBET, CRES) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and test equipment for medical devices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian is beneficial
