Responsibility
- Operate emergency ambulances safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and emergency response protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and transport patients to medical facilities in a timely manner.
- Maintain the ambulance vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and in optimal working condition.
- Assist medical personnel in loading and unloading patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical teams, and other emergency responders to coordinate seamless operations.
- Document all trips, patient information, and vehicle maintenance records accurately and thoroughly.
- Follow all safety and infection control procedures to minimize risks to patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and drills to enhance emergency response skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience in operating large vehicles.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) or equivalent emergency medical training is preferred.
- Prior experience in emergency medical services, ambulance driving, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure and emergency situations.
