Responsibility
- Monitor and report any anomalous processing events to the Lead Biotechnologist or Manufacturing Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Adhere to and support all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Engineering (E) policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine and non-routine biotechnological processes, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform data analysis and documentation to support process improvements and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in the training and mentoring of junior biotechnologists.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new biotechnological methods and techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a biotechnological or biomanufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of biotechnological processes and techniques.
- Experience with data analysis and documentation in a regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
