Responsibility
- Process and verify medical claims submissions for Australian clients with high accuracy.
- Review and validate patient information, treatment details, and insurance coverage.
- Liaise with healthcare providers, insurers, and clients to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Australian healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Maintain confidential and organized records of all claims and communications.
- Generate reports on claims status, processing times, and potential issues for management review.
- Assist in identifying fraudulent or irregular claims and escalate as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders via phone, email, or internal systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical claims processing, healthcare administration, or insurance (Australian market experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding (e.g., ICD-10), and billing processes.
- Proficient in using claims management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of data accurately.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with clear communication skills.
