Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Install, adjust, and calibrate mechanical components and systems according to technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required by production schedules.
