Responsibility
- Review and interpret work requests, job assignments, and technical specifications for mechanical and electrical tasks.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and implement effective solutions.
- Install, align, and calibrate new machinery and components according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements in the maintenance log system.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and swift resolution of technical issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical circuits.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and willingness to work in shift-based schedules.
