Responsibility
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support the installation and calibration of new mechanical components or production tools.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production line workflow.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for industrial maintenance.
- Ability to perform shift work, including night shifts as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
