Responsibility
- Develop and review mechanical engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and machinery.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project plans.
- Conduct site inspections and progress assessments to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Prepare and present technical reports, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for stakeholders and clients.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during construction and operation, providing cost-effective and efficient solutions.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including procurement, negotiations, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all projects meet environmental, safety, and sustainability standards in accordance with local and international codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.E. license) is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and material selection.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities in a multicultural team environment.
