Responsibility
- Develop and review detailed design plans to ensure alignment with project goals, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct comprehensive cost estimations for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses, providing accurate and data-driven reports.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality or aesthetics.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and financial projections to stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability best practices.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to source high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new materials, and innovative construction techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in design, cost estimation, or project management within the hospitality, construction, or real estate sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, and cost estimation tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and technical data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design and cost-related insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local building codes, zoning laws, and international hospitality design standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other Southeast Asian languages is advantageous.
