Responsibility
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the reliability and performance of mechanical equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to production.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to mechanical systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies related to mechanical maintenance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff on best practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for maintenance planning and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory standards in industrial maintenance.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
