Location: Canggu, Bali (with potential site visits to Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung).
Responsibility
- Lead the design and analysis of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structures for the data centre project, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
- Oversee the development and coordination of equipment foundations, including load calculations, material specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Manage BIM integration for structural components, collaborating with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to verify adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Review and approve structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals from contractors and vendors.
- Identify and mitigate potential structural risks, proposing innovative solutions to optimize project timelines and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and compliance records to project stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; a Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., P.Eng, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role on large-scale infrastructure or data centre projects.
- Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or Tekla Structures.
- Strong knowledge of BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and their application in structural engineering workflows.
- Experience with reinforced concrete (RC), steel structures, and equipment foundation design, including familiarity with international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is an advantage.
