Based in Bali, you will oversee safety protocols, conduct rigorous inspections, and lead safety briefings to safeguard personnel and assets. Responsibility
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits in marine and shipyard environments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with WSH regulations.
- Manage and enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, including confined space entry, hot work, and work-at-height permits.
- Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazards, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to integrate safety protocols into operational workflows.
- Monitor and maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments, inspection reports, and training records.
- Provide guidance on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear in high-risk zones.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to enhance safety programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in WSH coordination, preferably in marine, shipyard, or offshore industries.
- Certification in WSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent safety qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of PTW systems, confined space protocols, and work-at-height safety measures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to conduct training and enforce safety policies.
- Ability to analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies in dynamic work environments.
- Proficiency in safety management software and reporting tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
