Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial packaging machines, including labeling, sealing, and automated systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Install, calibrate, and test new machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear and tear, replacing faulty components (e.g., belts, bearings, motors) as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for all serviced equipment, including work orders and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and implement efficiency improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA and company guidelines.
- Train junior technicians and operators on basic troubleshooting and machine operation best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or packaging industries.
- Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for machinery assembly and repair.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems in industrial equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Excellent physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Basic English proficiency for technical documentation and team communication.
