Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and service reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot equipment failures and improve system reliability.
- Install, align, and adjust new machinery or components as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies to support maintenance operations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician or similar role in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary.
- Certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus.
