Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including conveyor belts, robotic arms, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical failures to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in occupational safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
