Are you a seasoned Electrical Engineer with expertise in building facility management and project coordination? A prestigious private organization in Bali, Indonesia is seeking a Building Facility Engineer / PMO to oversee the technical maintenance, operational efficiency, and strategic upkeep of high-end properties and facilities across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and surrounding areas.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless operation of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure while leading cross-functional projects to enhance sustainability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Responsibility
- Oversee the technical maintenance, repair, and optimization of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and other building facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Lead project management (PMO) initiatives, including renovations, upgrades, and energy-efficient solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to source materials, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets.
- Monitor energy consumption and sustainability metrics, proposing improvements to reduce costs and environmental impact.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff and facility teams.
- Prepare detailed reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and project progress for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in building facility management, electrical systems, or project management within the real estate, hospitality, or commercial sector.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, electrical distribution, automation systems, and energy management.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards in Indonesia.
- Experience with PMO frameworks, budgeting, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in CAD, BMS (Building Management Systems), and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
