As a Facilities Engineer, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure seamless operations in high-traffic environments. Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Oversee contractor and vendor activities for repairs, renovations, and installations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor energy consumption and recommend cost-saving measures to improve sustainability and reduce operational expenses.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with property management to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades aligned with business needs.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, building codes, and environmental health and safety (EHS) protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
