Responsibility
- Develop, review, and optimize mechanical engineering designs for industrial and process plant projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, and process engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into overall plant designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for mechanical components and systems.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical issues during project execution and plant operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering for process plants.
- Ensure all designs and implementations adhere to local regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on process plant or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and engineering simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and piping networks.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, API, and ISO for mechanical design and safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Experience working in Indonesia or Southeast Asia is a plus, with knowledge of local regulations and market conditions.
