Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for heavy-duty equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects, providing data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, quality assurance) to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product durability.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate designs and identify potential improvements.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in existing products, proposing and implementing corrective actions to enhance performance.
- Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering, materials science, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Ensure all projects adhere to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial machinery sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and CAE tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
- Experience with project management and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design and testing phases.
- Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or other industry standards for mechanical systems.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with international teams and clients.
