Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of BIM specialists, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans (BEP) tailored to project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate BIM workflows into project lifecycles.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of 3D models, clash detection, and coordination using tools like Revit, Navisworks, or ArchiCAD.
- Ensure compliance with BIM protocols, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and client-specific requirements.
- Optimize BIM processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve project outcomes.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill team members on emerging BIM technologies and best practices.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in BIM modeling, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360; familiarity with other BIM tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (ISO 19650, AIA, or local regulations) and clash detection workflows.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) BIM is highly desirable.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, CM-BIM) are advantageous.
