We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in pipeline engineering, maintenance protocols, and regulatory compliance to drive operational excellence in our transmission network.
Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities for gas transmission pipelines and associated facilities.
- Conduct regular integrity assessments, risk evaluations, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Oversee emergency response and repair works, including leak detection, corrosion control, and pipeline rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvement projects, upgrades, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, API).
- Monitor pipeline performance metrics, analyze data trends, and recommend corrective actions to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to local and international safety regulations, environmental policies, and SP Group’s operational protocols.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation for audits, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Train and mentor junior staff on pipeline operations, safety procedures, and best practices in maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Pipeline Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gas transmission pipeline operations, maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in pipeline integrity management, corrosion control, and leak detection systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Indonesian energy regulations, ASME B31.8, API 1160).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in pipeline monitoring software (e.g., GIS, SCADA).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Certifications in safety management (e.g., OSHA, HSE) or pipeline engineering are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to field sites across Bali and work in shift-based or on-call scenarios as needed.
