Responsibility
- Coordinate and supervise M&E works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures throughout all phases of construction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and contractors, to achieve project milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance to resolve engineering challenges.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data centre mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in data centre or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local and international engineering standards and regulations.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
