Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and certification of mechanical systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, API).
- Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports for clients in industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, and renewable energy.
- Perform risk assessments and failure analysis to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement mechanical solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
- Provide expert technical advice to clients on material selection, fabrication processes, and maintenance strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure Bureau Veritas remains at the forefront of mechanical engineering.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including inspection reports, compliance certificates, and client presentations.
- Support project management by coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to meet deadlines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in inspection, testing, or design roles.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng, or ASNT Level II/III) is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO 9001) and local regulations.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to travel to client sites in Bali and occasionally across Indonesia as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and ethical engineering practices.
