Responsibility
- Assist in the daily operation, monitoring, and control of boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of boiler equipment and associated mechanical systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including logs, reports, and compliance records for boiler operations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements in boiler efficiency, reliability, and energy conservation.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company safety protocols.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical issues, recommending and executing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Participate in emergency response procedures and conduct post-incident analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Support the training and development of junior staff and operators on boiler operation best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in boiler operations, maintenance, or industrial mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of boiler safety standards, pressure vessel regulations, and industrial compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to mechanical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and maintenance software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
