Responsibility
- Prepare detailed mechanical engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications for building services.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure project alignment with blueprints and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and contractors, to ensure project cohesion.
- Perform technical analysis and calculations to optimize system efficiency and performance.
- Monitor project progress on-site and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and project reports.
- Ensure all engineering works strictly adhere to local building codes, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in an engineering consultancy firm.
- Proficiency in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel to project sites as required.
