Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and downtime reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Install, calibrate, and upgrade machinery and systems as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in chemical or manufacturing plants.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and environmental regulations.
