As a key member of our team, you will oversee the financial and contractual aspects of M&E works, from initial cost estimation to final project delivery. Responsibility
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for M&E works, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Develop and negotiate contracts and subcontracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for M&E components.
- Conduct procurement activities, including tender evaluations, supplier comparisons, and purchase order management.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial plans.
- Perform value engineering to optimize M&E designs and specifications without compromising quality.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for stakeholders and senior management.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks related to M&E works, including variations, claims, and disputes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to align M&E cost plans with overall project objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on M&E systems in construction.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement for M&E projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E components, standards, and local regulations in Indonesia.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar) and MS Office (Excel, Project).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
